A Group Curatorial Project

This site documents a series of performances and collaborative works undertaken during the summer and autumn of 2009.  The impetus for the artwork was an exercise in the possibilities for collaboration as a curatorial group.  The outcome is a collection called Free Will 2009.

These works emerged out of wide-ranging discussions and debates regarding the notion of Free Will, whether or not it exists and if so, in what form and under what circumstances and conditions.  For the group, the idea of Free Will also quickly became linked with Play. 

So, the work is about Free Will.  Or not.  The performances are about Play.  A lot.  They use public artspace in private ways and, in the spirit of Free Will, seek no permissions to so do.
